Last week I was invited to assist to Marco & María’s parade at Feboda, a bridal fair which is celebrated every year at Tenerife’s fairground. The parade started with a ballet demonstration by a youth group and in second place, a chid. They where both marvelous. This gave an entrance to M&M’s new collection’s parade, full of sweetness and elegance. The music, also, helped us situate in a classic ambience, with dresses which fill. The parade finished with the dress I shoed you some weeks ago in this post, which was made with a parachute. Before parading, we where shown on the screens a bit about why this dress was made with a parachute and how they made it up, it’s not an incredible video but you can make an idea of how it was looking at it below.
I shot the best I could, but I got to the parade a bit late (I couldn’t find my invitation in my handbag, it was full of nonsense) and I didn’t catch what we’d call the best seat. Even so, you can take a look at all their collection on their web page, marcoymaria.com
In my opinion, Marco&María have nothing to envy to all those famous fashion designers which parade in Paris, New York or Milan as they have already done it, being elected to represent Spain in more than one. Us, the Canarian, are so lucky to have Marco&María as part of a family in what nation and roots refer to.
See you on next post!
