Between the multiple hours I spend in front of my computer looking at shoes and all the hours I’ve spent working for brands such as Chloé during the past few weeks, as well as those super well elaborated showcases I see on my way home, there’s a particular shoe I’ve seen repeatedly not only in two, but most of the fashion brands and that has captivated me nearly as much as the idea of being rich and buying the whole Aquazzura collection. But that’s why I’m here, to find the best low-cost versions of the season’s top garments; in this occasion, the laced ankle boots.

The first time I saw them was at the Chloé store, there was a customer who tried them on in several colours and it wasn’t until I came out of work and started looking at the store windows that I realised Clare Waight Keller hadn’t been the only one to come up with this brilliant idea. Designers like Miu Miu, Valentino, Dior or Chanel have also based some of their shoes following this trend. And it’s all love.
Now you know what I mean exactly by laced ankle boots, yes, they’re Miu Miu’s ballet shoes made into boots and the result is tremendous!
And talking about Miu Miu, about their famous ballerinas (low-cost version here) and about the great appreciation it looks like they have for lacing shoes, well, it was obvious we needed their version here. I personally wouldn’t buy the second model I’m showing, I just feel like it doesn’t fit my style and there’s too much going on in them, but the first ones? definitely! I love them for the simplicity, the colour which I can combine with basically everything, and they’re also very sophisticated.
Concretely this shoe doesn’t pretend to show the trend but the details, something that has always motivated Dior’s collections; detail, detail, detail. I like the touch of gold and maybe because of this it looks like a more versatile shoe… but at the same time, more elegant, so you have to be careful when choosing your outfit!
This is perhaps the most different one, having a different tying system and varying the details on it as well. One of my faves! It had to be Chanel, obviously…
And last but not least! I really admire this design, to me, it’s spectacular. And after seeing it in real life, oh my god, I have no words for it… I have nothing else to say apart from the super news that none of these shoes are less than 500€, but don’t panic! That’s what I’m here for, let’s go for those super low-cost versions you’ve been anxiously waiting for!
And till here today’s post! Lots of kissed and see you next week! Enjoy the weekend 😀
